Appearance

A fine specimen of his breed, Viti is at the prime of his life and well versed in the art of dance and the songs of cranes. He stands up to 1,40 cm tall and weights around 6 kg, making him a medium sized bird. With those long, thin legs of his, Viti carries all the 6 kgs proudly and gracefully, or at least he attempts to aim towards smooth movements, that would cause envy in the minds of those standing close by.

Grooming is without a doubt one of his favorite hobbies- every feather no matter how big or small needs to be in the right order, or otherwise Viti can’t seem to be pleased about his looks. The outer shell of his being is the first thing, that others will notice about him, so of course the proud crane wants himself to look his best at all times. Nothing less than perfect won't do...

Before his awakening, Viti remembers being among others of his kind. It must have been the nesting season, a time of abundance and love. That’s all he can recall, the rest has been lost. Still, everything was simple back then, now for the first time ever, he finds himself pondering things, that would never have crossed his mind before. Unnecessary things. It’s almost overwhelming at times and preventing his sanity from being washed away by waves of abstract thoughts can be a chore.

But, oh, how Viti adores the way he looks and moves. If only he didn’t need to eat or sleep, then he could spend all of his time admiring his own reflection. One's appearance is everything, so it shouldn't be surprising, that Viti finds beautiful things very attractive. Preserving all that is beautiful comes naturally for him, those who wish to take away the beauty from the world receive no kindness from him. Pride is Viti’s greatest sin, one that will most likely stick with him for the rest of his life.
